This all is tucked in a thin wedge-shaped aluminum case with an integrated 720p "FaceTime HD" webcam, Touch ID, a backlit "Magic Keyboard" with a "scissor mechanism", a large "Force Touch" trackpad, and a high-resolution 13.3" LED-backlit 2560x1600 (227 ppi, 400 nits) "Retina" display with True Tone technology. Connectivity includes 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, two Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports (USB-C connector), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The aluminium case is available in three colour options -- gold, silver, and a darker “Space Grey” (but not other colours) and weighs 2.8 pounds (1.27 kg). Apple estimates battery life at 15-18 hours, depending on the task performed.

The hub is made from aluminium and is looks great with any Mac. A beautifully elegant solution for any desk – a single cable. Say goodbye to dongle life. Please note, this is a bundle option, with a 256GB internal SSD drive paired with a high speed 1TB NVMe solid-state (SSD) drive. It is not a 1.25TB internal SSD drive. Apple do not make such a machine. This is done to save you money whilst maximising the total storage and minimising any performance penalty.

Your machine will arrive sealed, straight from Apple, and we can then remotely install your software at a time of your choosing after you have set the machine up to your liking and imported/set up your Apple profile and programs. We include the Windows and Linux installations already set up for you - they are installed in the hub and you do not need to install or import them to the internal drive - you are ready to go. Your computer and your extras may arrive separately due to Covid restrictions, depending upon your location, but both will arrive at the same time.

All non-standard Mac configurations may take longer to arrive, dependent upon availability, as they are BTO (Build to Order) machines, and are manufactured by Apple on a per-order basis. That is exactly the same as ordering directly from Apple themselves. They often arrive much sooner, as our distributors often have them in stock, but please do pay attention to the time-frames when ordering to avoid any disappointment. These are suggested time-frames, not guarantees. Standard machine configurations will arrive much sooner, as we keep them in stock. Please bear this in mind when ordering. This can then be claimed back by any business or anyone who has a VAT/IVA registration number or equivalent in your country. We ship directly to you using our own FedEx Express service.
